HyperdriveCarbon 100% Carbon Fibre Plates. We manufacture Twill Weave 100% Carbon fibre Plates with a Matt finish on one side only. Carbon Fibre Plates are very strong owing to its perfect ratio of reinforcement to matrix and pressure consolidation during curing and is manufactured to engineering tolerances. Thickness: 10.0mm to 20.0mm. Plate: 300mm x 200mm. Weight (per sheet in grams). 12.0mm : 1.2kg. 14.0mm : 1.4kg. 16.0mm : 1.6kg. 18.0mm : 1.8kg. Race cars and Automotive. This plate has a Twill weave pattern. The one side of the plate has a classic twill weave, woven carbon fibre appearance and is nearly pinhole-free with a Matte finish. Our high strength vacuum infused composite plates are manufactured using carbon fibre reinforced with a near-clear epoxy resin matrix. All composite stacks are laid by hand to ensure maximum. Homogenization of fibre alignment. Stacks are then vacuum infused and cured under pressure greater than 28 inches of mercury. The tool is then elevated to an optimal temperature to produce a near-perfect composite sheet with high-grade mechanical properties and a class-A surface finish. We manufacture many of our sheets and plates for the RC and Race Car industry which are used for chassis, wheels and spoiler plate wings.
