Our carbon fibre parts are designed as direct replacements for the original items. Installation is usually straightforward and involves removing the original part, transferring any brackets or cable guides over, and securing the carbon fibre part with the original fasteners. If additional mounting hardware is needed, this is supplied in the box. Please note that carbon fibre is a completely different material from the injection moulded plastic or metal parts it is designed to replace. It is extremely challenging to achieve the same level of precision in carbon fibre manufacture due to the properties of the material itself and the processes uséd. There may be some variation in the dimensions of mounting tabs and other small and intricate areas, which means that some slight modification or adjustment may be required during installation. It is something that most sellers do not mention, but we’d rather be open about it. If any adjustment is required (and it probably won’t be), it can be done with basic tools e.
